Metallica - Death Magnetic (2008) Review

Good afternoon, headbangers! This rock show must go on, and sailing in at #n43 is the mighty Death Magnetic.

Death Magnetic is the ninth studio album by Metallica, released in 2008. This was the first Metallica album to feature bassist Robert Trujillo, and the second to be completely co-written by all of the band's members. Musically, Death Magnetic is a radical departure from Metallica's previous album, St. Anger, and is considered a return to the band's thrash metal roots.

Death Magnetic made Metallica the first band to achieve five consecutive number-one studio albums on the US Billboard 200, and although the album received positive reviews, its production was the subject of some strong criticism.

A lot of you guys think Metallica died after the ...And Justice For All album, but where does Death Magnetic rank on your list of Metallica albums? Does it deserve to make our top 50?
